Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Aevatrix ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use Spellsum (the "Game").

Game saves

Your level progress, clovers, hints, best times, daily spell streak, quests, the levels you are playing and your settings are stored on your device. Spellsum does not require an account and has no cloud-save service or manual save export. Automatic Android cloud backup is disabled in this build. Device-transfer behavior may depend on your Android version and device manufacturer; restoration is not guaranteed. Do not rely on recovering progress after uninstalling, clearing app data or changing devices.

Reminders

After you finish your first level, the Game asks whether you would like reminders. If you allow them, it schedules a small number of notifications on your device, for example a note that your daily gift or a new daily spell is waiting. To pick a sensible time, the Game remembers on your device the hour of day you usually play. Reminders are created and shown entirely on your device; no push-notification service is used and nothing is sent to us. You can turn reminders off at any time in the Game's Settings or in Android's notification settings.

Gameplay analytics and diagnostics

Spellsum does not transmit your gameplay progress or gameplay analytics to our servers and has no separate gameplay analytics or crash-reporting service.

Ads and purchases

The current version does not serve ads or offer in-app purchases. In the Play release, hints are earned through gameplay, daily gifts and quests. Separate debug builds may show clearly marked simulated ads or purchases, which do not connect to advertising or payment services and do not charge you. This version does not integrate an advertising SDK or Google Play Billing and does not process advertising identifiers or purchase tokens. We will update this policy and provide applicable privacy controls before introducing those features.

Online legal pages

The Game includes offline copies of this policy and the Terms, which you can read under Settings without a connection. If you choose to open their public web versions, your browser connects to our hosting provider, Railway, which may process your IP address, browser information and request logs to deliver, secure and operate those pages. This is separate from gameplay, and the Game does not send your saved progress to that website. The legal pages do not include advertising or analytics scripts.

Sound and device features

The Game plays sound effects and can use your device's vibration. These features work entirely on your device and do not collect information. The Game does not use your camera, microphone, contacts or location.

Storage and retention

Device-local data remains until it is cleared or the app is uninstalled. We cannot remotely access or restore your device-local game save. Any device-transfer copies managed outside the Game are controlled by your device and operating system. If you contact support, we receive your email address, message and any files you choose to send. We use them to respond, investigate the issue and handle related follow-up. We retain this correspondence only as long as needed for those purposes or to meet applicable legal obligations. To request deletion of support correspondence, email support@aevatrix.com. Any information that must be retained for a legal obligation is kept only for that purpose.

Data protection

Game saves are kept in the app's local storage, within Android's app sandbox. Their protection also depends on your device security and operating system. Support correspondence is handled through our email provider, separately from the Game. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or other unnecessary sensitive information. No storage or communication method can guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

Spellsum is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. No account, email address or real name is required to play.

Your choices

You can change sound, music, vibration and reminders in Settings, block notifications in Android's settings, and erase locally stored game data through Android's app settings. Any operating-system device transfers are controlled separately. We cannot remotely access or delete your device-local save; you control its deletion on your device. You can request deletion of support correspondence using the contact address below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the Game or applicable requirements change. The effective date above identifies the latest version. Our Terms of Service also apply to your use of the Game.
