Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Aevatrix ("we," "us," or "our") about your use of Spellsum (the "Game"). By using the Game, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Game.

The Game and your license

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and play the Game on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment, as long as you follow these Terms. The Game is licensed to you, not sold. We keep all rights that these Terms do not expressly give you.

Who can play

Spellsum is intended for ages 13 and older. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, get a parent or guardian's permission.

No account

The Game does not need an account. Your progress, clovers, hints, best times and settings are stored on your device. The Game does not provide cloud saves or manual save exports. You are responsible for your device; recovery after clearing data, uninstalling or changing devices is not guaranteed.

Hints, clovers and other in-game items

Hints, clovers, wardrobe items and similar in-game items have no cash value, are not property, and cannot be sold, traded or transferred outside the Game. You get a limited right to use them inside the Game. Because they are stored only on your device, they are lost if you uninstall the Game or clear its data, and we cannot remotely restore them. Automatic Android cloud backup is disabled; device-transfer behavior may depend on your operating system and manufacturer, and is not guaranteed. We may adjust in-game rewards and amounts over time.

Ads and purchases

The current version does not serve ads or offer in-app purchases. In the Play release, hints are earned through gameplay, daily gifts and quests. Separate debug builds may show clearly marked simulated ads or purchases, which do not connect to advertising or payment services and do not charge you. If these features are introduced, we will update these Terms and the Privacy Policy before they become available.

Reminders

If you allow notifications, the Game may show occasional reminders on your device. They are optional, and you can turn them off in Settings or in Android's notification settings at any time.

Rules of use

• Do not copy, modify, decompile, reverse engineer or extract code or assets from the Game, except where the law lets you.
• Do not use cheats, hacks, bots, automation, modified apps or tools that change the Game or its saves.
• Do not try to get around gameplay limits or security features.
• Do not use the Game for anything unlawful, or in a way that could harm the Game, our systems or other people.

Our content

The Game, including its levels, artwork, characters, animations, sounds, text and design, belongs to Aevatrix or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. Third-party names and marks belong to their owners.

Updates and availability

We may update, change, suspend or discontinue the Game or parts of it, including features, levels or offers. Some updates may be required to keep playing. We do not promise the Game will always be available or free of errors.

Disclaimer

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise that the Game will meet your expectations, run without interruption, or keep your saved progress safe in every situation.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of progress, in-game items or data, arising from your use of the Game. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

Ending these Terms

You can stop using the Game at any time by uninstalling it. We may end or restrict your license if you break these Terms. The sections that by their nature should continue after that will continue.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the Game or applicable requirements change. The effective date above identifies the latest version, and the updated Terms are included in the Game under Settings. For significant changes, we will give notice in the Game's update notes or store listing before they take effect, and obtain agreement where required.

Your legal rights

Nothing in these Terms takes away any mandatory consumer rights you have under the law where you live.
